Delete your account

You can delete your Khumio account at any time, in the app or by asking us. Here is how, and what happens to your information.

In the app

  1. Open Khumio and tap your photo or initial at the top of Home to open Account.
  2. Tap your name to open Your profile.
  3. At the bottom, tap Delete account.
  4. Khumio shows what will happen to each of your wallets. Enter your password, tap Delete my account, and confirm.

Your account is deleted at once.

If you can’t open the app

Email support@khumio.creativeblaq.com from the address you signed up with, with the subject “Delete my Khumio account”. We will check it is you, delete the account within 30 days, and write back when it is done. Writing from a different address? Tell us the address you signed up with, and we will confirm with that address first.

What is deleted

  • Your name, email address, password and profile photo.
  • Your personal wallets and everything in them.
  • Any shared wallet that only you are in.
  • Your financial records, invitations and requests to join.

What is kept

  • What you recorded in a shared wallet stays in that wallet, because the other members’ balances are made of it. It shows as from a “Former member”, with nothing that identifies you.
  • A shared wallet you own, with other people in it, passes to one of them.
  • Our encrypted backups keep a copy for up to 35 days, then it is gone.

Photos of receipts and documents were only ever on your phone. Deleting the app removes them.
